The National Social Catechetical Training Centre (NSCTC) is the National Training Centre of the Catholic Church in Bangladesh.
It is set up and regulated by the Catholic Bishops’ Conference of Bangladesh (CBCB) for the formation and training of catechists and lay people, in view of a more committed Christian presence and evangelizing witness in Bangladesh.

The National Social Catechetical Training Centre is pastoral and spiritual in nature and orientation. In the spirit of the Pastoral Plan of the Church in Bangladesh, the Centre serves the Catholic Church and her mission in Bangladesh. It is committed to provide on-going formation for pastoral and social agents of the seven Dioceses.

Specifically, the NSCTC offers three kinds of services:
01. organization and animation of training courses for different categories of groups;
02. creation, provision and distribution of catechetical and pastoral aids;
03. animation and training in the Parishes.

Through an experiential and anthropological approach the Centre provides courses and life experiences for trainees in order to motivate and foster in them a participatory attitude and empower them for the ministries in the Church’s community building, social change and missionary witness and action.
